frequently asked questions
what is rebirthing good for?
rebirthing supports your intention to heal. breathing more energy into your body creates an experience of heightened aliveness, allowing for the release of emotional charges in the body in a safe environment.
because of its supportive nature, rebirthing also integrates extremely well with and enhances other forms of holistic energy work, body work, and therapy, while offering its own unique benefits.
what is a typical session like?
sessions typically take about two hours. first we talk for about 15 to 30 minutes, then breathe for about one hour, leaving time for sharing and integration in the last 30 minutes.
what will my first session be like?
the theme of the first session is what brought you here. we begin by discussing basic information of your history, as well as your goals and intentions for the breathwork process. the breathing session itself consists of an hour of guided breathing according the rebirthing breath technique. sharing, grounding, and integration follow, and sometimes an assignment for the time inbetween sessinos.
what is the ten-session process?
rebirthing is about integrating change in your life, and creating a lasting, sustainable impact. while a single breathing session can be very impactful, a much greater value comes with seeing a single practitioner regularly for a series of ten sessions. this consistency allows an unfolding to take place over the course of weeks or months. what happens in the time between sessions becomes even more important than the sessions themselves. your rebirther gets to know your patterns and can cater the process to your particular needs. at the end, you can see and integrate the progress you've made.

what is rebirthing breathwork?
rebirthing breathwork uses a circular breath to release tension and staleness from body and mind, creating space for new thoughts, actions, and possibilities in your life. breathing brings you into the body and into presence, restoring innocence, and increasing vitality by clearing the emotional past.
rebirthing breathwork is one of the pioneering movements of modern breathwork. it was first created in the 1970s by leonard orr. he found that by breathing connectedly he was able to release and heal his mind and body of emotional memories, including birth memories. over time his collaborators and students took the work and continued to develop it, making it more gentle, accessible and efficient.
a rebirthing session opens your body’s energy channels and accelerates the flow of creativity and intuition. using a deep connected breath for approximately one hour, the rebirthing process releases stress and tension from the body and accesses and releases stored emotion.
the ten-session rebirthing process is a supportive format for creating life-changing transformation. it puts energy toward whatever process you are engaged in by helping you move your past out of your future and present. take a breath and see what is possible: book your first session with ambrose now!
